Mars seeks to acquire underperforming or distressed businesses with transaction values ranging between $5 million and $50 million. Mars will also consider profitable companies with above average growth prospects. Mars will make equity investments of between $1 million to $10 million.

Mars is primarily focused on companies within a 100 mile radius of Chicago, but we also will consider acquisitions throughout the Upper Midwest.
